CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LITTLE ACTIVIST MEDIA GROUP

Last night, after losing about an hour from the anticipated coordination difficulties of a new start up activity, our little group of  grassroots media activists took our message to the street for a couple of hours and everything went splendidly. My stat estimates indicate that by the end of the evening we reached about 22,000 new people with our message(s), mostly for Newt. There was also some appropriate Santorum/Paul kicking and a little bit about the Arpaio investigation decision, in which probable cause of a criminal forgery has met the reasonable legal standard and Sheriff Arpaio - on behalf of the 4 million people he represents - is now investigating the identity of the Obama birth certificate forger to make an arrest in the criminal forgery as soon as possible. (22,000 - try that arguing with trolls on a FB message board that boasts 11,000 but in practical reality is actually more like 1,000 or less with only a manifest few dozen actual participants; the idea that those boards have more than a fraction of the people they boast to have is clearly absurd or they would be the most active places in the world, and they aren't)

I'd like to personally thank everyone in our group for a terrific job well-done; it was fun, engaging, sometimes outrageously hilarious and entirely successful.  This will be a regular operation from now until the GOP Florida Convention. In that time, it is entirely reasonable to shoot for and expect that our message(s) will reach millions of people.

To those who have previously expressed an interest in being a part, all positions have been filled at this moment, but we will keep your name if we can expand the operation further.

PUTTING A PERSPECTIVE ON SHERIFF ARPAIO'S OBAMA BIRTH CERTIFICATE INVESTIGATION VERDICT.

 I'll keep this comparatively short, but carry the thought around and express it whenever possible: you know that after 6 months and 2,200 man-hours with a large team of investigators of law enforcement people and lawyers, Sheriff Joe Arpaio - a man with 30 years federal law enforcement experience before downgrading his activities for simple personal reasons by becoming a sheriff - held a press conference in which he stated "probable cause' that forgery was committed. It is beginning to appear that many people don't know what this means. "Probable cause" does not mean "maybe" as suggested by the word "probable" - look it up. It means an alleged crime has been determined to have been definitely committed.

If you listen to Arpaio's full press conference, while he says he is unsure of where to take the larger issue, that isn't the end of this. Arpaio categorically says that the birth certificate is fake, a crime of forgery and fraud has been committed and they are now tracking down the forger so as to arrest that person, and since the 4 million people of his district have been defrauded, he has the authority to do it, too. Arpaio has 30 years federal experience with hundreds of lawyers as part of his volunteer resource, he knows what he's doing. He can do it - he can arrest the forger. He has the authority . And he says they have identified the computer on which the document was uploaded, so they intend to start with that person and work backward until they find the forger.

That isn't what you are hearing from the media. Please take a moment here and there to correct them:

ARPAIO IS GOING TO ARREST OBAMA'S FORGER. And he'll do it, too; he has the experience, the team, the knowledge and the authority. That's huge. Maybe the biggest this country has ever seen. And it's real and true and happening as you read this.

When the Obots online try to mock this down, remind them that public opinion does not matter and will not influence this situation, anymore, so their mockery is just wasting their own time: ARPAIO IS GOING TO ARREST OBAMA'S FORGER.

ON THE STATE OF OUR DETERMINATION - We Need To Change Our Political Battle Habits

I have to say, with the larger Newt collection of supporters  and other conservatives whom the media hates, with things so desperate for the country and time so short to get Newt the nomination/discredit Santorum (must be done, he's a pawn for the left now) and yes, advertise Arpaio's investigation conclusion that Obama's birth certificate is a criminal fraud (that's right, a criminal fraud, and Arpaio has a long federal enforcement history, he's not just some backwater Sheriff, this guy knows what he's talking about), that people would be anxious to immediately try anything for a short time.

It's frightening to think we may not be doing enough. But the fact is that as long as Santorum beats Newt and Obama beats Santorum in the polls, we are doing much of this very wrongly because the poll numbers are exactly the reverse of what they should be. If we don't act now to change things those numbers will be exactly what the election results will be in November. Now is the time to take more and stronger action.

It's too frustrating to look, right now, but I must assume large numbers of people on Facebook are simply allowing themselves to be drawn in by the leftist trolls - who are being paid - to argue endlessly instead of doing what we must do to win: sticking to a couple of solid, repeated messages there and elsewhere. While we chatter like monkeys on Facebook and message boards, other arms of the opposition's operation are hitting the larger population - and all the while we are not. It happens this way every election cycle; the opposition scurry on the ground fast and nimble and coordinated with the media covering for them and most on our side sit like pompous asses on message boards spouting like forth-rate Limbaughs waiting for Hannity to save us and the conclusion is almost always the same: we lose and wind up listening to people bitch about how terrible the mainstream media is, when those same people should be pointing the finger at themselves. The mainstream media has no duty to let us win - we have to earn those victories for ourselves, and doing the same thing over and over and losing is the classic and overused definition of insanity.

If we had half the determination we need to get off our collective asses and work outside our comfort zone, as ourselves or under internet aliases, as the opposition does, Obama would never have been approved to tour the White House, let alone live in it.

I say the following every 2 years - WE MUST CHANGE OUR HABITS - and watch as every 2 years the same thing happens: we creep closer to losing our status as a truly free nation. But like a hopeless gambling addict I will keep trying; maybe THIS time.... WE NEED TO CHANGE OUR HABITS. THIS MEANS YOU.

Thank God for the Tea Party and the fact that some people did get up and moving - but it took the threat of a literal slow death by governmental intrusion and neglect in the form of Obamacare to make it happen, and now that people have some hope that it will be defeated, eventually, they are falling back into casual old habits that cause us to lose. Hannity, Rush and their guests like Palin are actually terrible for our side; they give us a false sense of security when the reality is that they can do nothing - we have to do what need to be done.

The Tea Party saved us - literally in many ways -  in 2010. But the poll numbers show Obama, with his horrible and disastrous record, is still doing well. That means we're failing, again - with his record he should be shown as being hopeless - that shows how poor we are at getting our messages out to the larger population, instead allowing ourselves to be suckered by manipulating leftists who successfully waste our time by saying outrageous things and draw us into meaningless arguments while others among their ranks get the the larger job done without opposition or competition. We need to be those 'others" for our side and get the job done, because arguing on Facebook is not enough. It never is.

The problem is, of course, the painful feeling that if you are not "holding down the fort" on FB 24/7, things will get worse there. My own feeling is that if the situation gets bad there, there are enough people there to fill in for you on those hours or days when you are doing something else. And we need to do something else because we are failing and that is not opinion, that is statistical fact.

WE NEED TO CHANGE OUR HABITS. We have to learn how to win. Taking a cue from the leftists is a good start. They win, and the reason is that they work hard at it. Get  truly active in ways not currently being used - out-maneuver the opposition, put them in checkmate - God knows with Obama's record that should be easy enough if we only but put in the effort. There are enough talk show hosts. We need people getting the message out to the larger population.  Out-maneuvering the opposition is what this board is about. If you subscribe (free) and qualify yourself (real name or alias, doesn't matter) as a long-time Newt supporter on Facebook, we can do it on a private board linked to this one where the opposition cannot see what we are doing and cannot counter our efforts at influence. But time is short, action here is slow and we need more people. Hurry. We're running out of time.

So I will say it again: when it comes to fighting our political battles WE NEED TO CHANGE OUR HABITS TO WIN.  Is anyone else here confident enough in this reality to say it with me? Or do we just start believing in magic: if we do the same things that cause us to lose, only do them with  little more effort, we will win, instead? The decision is up to you.

FIGHTING THE "BLUE REPUBLICANS"; RADICAL LEFT WING EXTRMISTS

There is a thread already that touches on this subject on this board, HERE. But this takes the fight in an additional. important counter-attack direction.

Here's what's happening so far: as you know, the left is using Santorum as a pawn and voting for him in the republican primaries in so the weirdest and weakest candidate is the one that goes up against Obama.

I predicted that if this was a real movement taking hold and using Santorum, many of the Paul supporters would abandon Paul - it's the same blue democrat activists - and concentrate on Santorum, instead. This prediction would be proved if it turned out that Santorum's previous numbers went up and and Paul's numbers went down, as the liberal Blue Democrats shifted their manipulative strategy from Paul to Santorum. Unhappily, that is exactly what happened: Paul got a barely-registering 4+% this time around, much further down from his previous 9% - 12%. Santorum this time around went up almost exactly conversely to Paul. The causation is clear. Worse, according to Dick Morris, who knows his way around as President Bill Clinton's former chief political adviser and bestselling author, this is probably being organized by the Obama White House as only they would have the power to order union leaders to send out their rank and file for Santorum, which suggests they have the worst of the worst kind of October surprises waiting for Santorum, or they would not be this confident.

Now, on the one hand, we can show the world the videos of Santorum bashing protestants and telling the world that this catholic protestant-basher is simply theologically shackled to the point where he cannot win a general election - regardless of unpleasant Obama surprises waiting for Santorum, that's clear. And we need to keep doing that while pushing Newt.

However, they might just steal newt's otherwise conservative victory; polls showed newt winning handily among GOP voters but losing yesterday in actual votes. So what can we do? Many things, but IMO the most important is to see to it that regardless of who how candidate happens to be - and Newt could well lose this now to Santorum, let's not be cute about it - that they simply do not go against Obama because Obama is not in contention. How can we do that legally? Hold on to your hat: the so-called "birther issue", because the crime is no longer theoretical. Keep reading.

When Sheriff Joe Arpaio released his investigation report, as shown in the CBS news report, shown below, everything changed silently in a media vacuum; there is now a properly mounted and conducted criminal investigation done in accordance with all law and procedure that has decided that criminal activity was committed in the form of releasing a forgery, which in this case, is also a felony - and people accused by law enforcement of being felons cannot run for president.This strongly implies Obama. It's more than exposing a fraud for political purposes; public outrage is what drives politicians to do uncomfortable things - like work -  and could take Obama off his game as the candidate. if that happens don;t worry about our guy beating theirs - it would totally demoralize the left base, the moderates, particularly add the independents would abandon the democrats almost entirely. It would decimate the democrats for a decade.

For years the fake birth certificate was in the theoretical world legally, but Arpaio's press conference changed all that. The only thing lacking is media coverage that results in public awareness and outcry. You can use THIS WEBSITE  to hep get the word out, or just learn the information on it and spread it around.

Okay, then, here's how it is: if the liberals want to ruin our nomination process and try to keep us on the defense, then we'll legally ruin their nomination process and keep them on the defensive. If that's how they want to play, we'll play it. It's just that simple. THE BEST WAY TO POST THE NEWT VS OBAMA VIDEO - the gift that keeps on giving

( This is not, incidentally, the larger, coordinated strategy being put together. This is simply something you can do daily to help Newt.)

At this point, with almost 7,000 hits on my channel, and collectively including the youtube bootlegs over 20,000 hits totaled together, we can assume the regulars on the different political discussion boards on FB who want to watch it have watched it. However, there is still a very large audience that needs it and has not seen it - the 290,000-plus Facebook Newt supporters; his wall activity moves quickly and the video is easily lost in the shuffle, few people open the drop-down to see more than the few proceeding posts.

Some have tried to post original threads with the video and unfortunately, while well-intentioned, posting the link on an original thread shows only the internet address - not the thumbnail image and bold-lettered description which is the enticing part. The thumbnail image and video description only show up in responses to other posts, not in the main post themselves.

One of the great things you can do - and this is not meant to sound self-serving (the video was made as a tool to help Newt, not my abstract internet FB identity which helps me not at all in the "real" world except that I will live under the next president, also) is to spread this video. Why does that help? Because it reminds Newt's supporters how good he is - how many people have lauded him with glowing kudos - and how he will perform in a debate against Obama. This has proved to be by far the best tool I have managed to come up with to help Newt, for whatever that may mean. But the Facebook trolls removed me from FB - my sacrifice - but they won't dare do it to you, too; established Newt fans are not the same as the troublemaker who actually created a troublesome-for-opposition video.

So I am asking you to re-post the video link a couple of times a day, every day - a 2-minute operation that requires nothing more than the self-discipline to do it. Newt people continually find and compliment the video. 99% of the people who need it - the ones on Newt's wall - have not seen it. Please give them something that will help keep them active and energized.

DIRECTIONS (submitted to you as a request):

1. Go to Newt's Facebook wall

2. Find newt's own most recent post at the top of the page.

3. in the comment section, post a link to the video with something that will induce people to watch.

In this way, the thumbnail and Youtube description get included with your post, and when people see that, they won't be afraid to click on it - a mere link could be anything, including a site with viruses. This way, with the Youtube image, they know it's clean and safe to click on.

If you can do this 3 times a day, you will really keep morale up, and keep our side on the offensive. If you post on slower threads with few comments, it will be visable longer. Right now, the media is trying to freeze us out and keep Newt's supporters on the defense. This one simple action will help enormously. After over 20 years of successful professional media experience in NYC leading teams and creating material, I know what I'd doing on this. Other epople can talk about telephone banks and getting recruits to go door-to-door - that;' what they know as experts. This is what I know as an expert.

It should be noted that Rasmussen has personally never liked Newt and his prejudice against Newt is well-known in the media.  We need to get more active than simple arguing with trolls on Facebook. We need to be Newt's advertising machine. Take it from a media specialist in NYC who knows advertising; we can do it.

The lack of response signals to me that

1. I should not leave hints up for other side to guess the strategy, and

2. My effectiveness as an online champion for Newt is probably coming to a close. I expected a few friends from FB to join together here, at least initially, but that is not proving to be the case. 

Know this: "WORKING" for Newt is not spinning your wheels arguing with trolls on Facebook, allowing yourself to get off-topic on those boards; the people with whom you are arguing are being paid by ACRON and the like to keep you there arguing and doing nothing productive. The productive people, like myself and others,stay on-topic, to the point and continually post devastating evidence against the opposition sooner or later get thrown off. I know two others for sure. 

That is not to say people should abandon Facebook - simply stop wasting your time debating minutia with trolls - you cannot win on the territory that have terraformed for their own advantage: they're organized - you have noticed, I'm sure, that the moment you start to win an argument 5 other people show up out of nowhere to talk you down. That isn't a coincidence.  While you sit down after dinner and  chat at your leisure feeling terribly, terribly helpful and important - and strategically isolated -  they are a tight, strategically organized and well-oiled  machine. 

The left does what it does because it can not argue the merits, so those people organize and cheat. We sit as uncoordinated individuals and declare the truth. Result? We're getting killed. 

If you don't want the liberals to win, you better get organized and I do not mean manning phone banks and attending fundraiser pancake breakfasts. Our opposition plays fast, dirty and they are as tight as a spring clock. We need to be the same way and be that way fast. If you want to win this, take a little time and trouble to speak up - and sign up - to this board because I don't know of any other that takes this attitude and approach. If you know of another that does, stop wasting time arguing with paid operatives about right and wrong on Facebook and get involved. . This is about getting things done and influencing people on a large scale with strategic tricks that work. And please don't tell me "people are doing more behind the scenes than you know." Two people who told me that in that last three years turned out to be people working for the opposition attempting to lull people us into a false sense of security. The opposition may be crazy, but they are anything but stupid. 

The reality is - and it is a reality - that we are disorganized and essentially naked to attack. We need to start playing like they do. We need to get organized and meet and get things done as a well-oiled machine. If need be, we need to play dirty. If I don't hear from some serious people in the next week I am closing this blog down and will simply pray that one of the people who could have done something and did not had a better solution than sitting for endless hours on Facebook chatting with people who are being paid to give us busy work while their real operations are taking us apart from the inside out. 

I can organize an evening of proven strategic activity that is certain to work. But if you are interested, you need to say so. Otherwise I will simply assume that I being met with the same response some of us got in 2008 - all talk and no learning of new habits that make a difference by passionate conservatives who are dead certain they are achivibg real results by arguing with people being paid to absorb your time and energy and will shut this board down and pray for a miracle, because we are losing right now against the left, and that's a fact. 

Am I coming across like a unnecessarily tough hard-ass? Yes. But I know of no other way to express this. The situation is what it is and we're running out of time quickly.

The choice is yours. Rush and Hannity will not save you - Obama's election and current poll numbers show they have failed. Arguing with trolls will only buy their co-workers the time they need to succeed. You need to play like the opposition. I can help but can do no more without your cooperation and involvement. It's up to you. But you need to act fast.

Today many delegates are up for grabs, and depending on today's results, which look good, a fast and surgical series of online activities could really put the word out about Newt - the correct word; the truth about Newt's accomplishment and solutions, ideas, caring for the nation and just plain brilliance, not the leftist spin over which we, believe it or not, do have some power.

Before going any further, I need to know how many are on board with this idea of working together;  a few of us have tried activist solutions online for other political topics  in ways which are entirely legal and above-board, lest you worry, with great success. But I need to know who is with us and who is not, even if only using your internet name. People known to me from Facebook are particularly welcome, BTW. So if you are on-board, please post "Aye". Don;t expect many "Ayes" immediately - this blog is all of one day old and while people know me, no one knows this, yet.


On a final note, people have made copies of the Newt vs Obama debates and have started cutting it up with their own "superior" take on it, and this includes cutting out all the kudos Newt gets from the best and brightest - one even replaced it with a stupid "ready to rumble" opening. This may seem cute and a 'way to get the word out", but what these amatuers are doing (I've been successful in media in NYC for 25 years) is ruining the message; the debate illustration in the second half is only convincing to third parties who have only heard the liberal spin about Newt if you know that Newt has won all the prvious debates with huge acclaim. Otherwise, it just looks like a desperate and lame attempt to make Newt look like something he isn't - when in fact, he is. If you stumble upon any of these ham-firsted re-edits - done in violation of the terms of use (trolls looking for attention don't care) - shout them down and humiliate them for operating against the Youtube terms of service.  Ruining the message as carefully crafted does not help Newt regardless of the person's intentions - it hurts him. If we want to win we need to be professional - and those people are not being that.


So the video notwithstanding, please give an "Aye" if you are on-board with coordinating your efforts with others quickly  for the best possible effect, and we'll see how many people are on-board and where we can go from there. Telling other Newt supporters about this board might be a good preliminary first step.

Reagan came into office as a successful former governor, once divorced and re-married, and had liberal kids who publicly decried him both for his politics and as a father. He was strong on stage but had a spotty record in debates, and once against Mondale had a heart-stopping brain-freeze, though he nevertheless roared to an historic victory, bringing the now-famous "Reagan Democrats" with him. He was a staunch conservative who was vilified by the mainstream media that often tried to use exaggerations about his past to denounce him, and often called him a shallow actor and mocked his age. Yet he was indisputably the greatest President of the last hundred years. Reagan charmed his enemies, outmaneuvered his opponents, made coalitions with his adversaries, and led this country to a joyous, prosperous time.

Enter Newt Gingrich. Never a former actor but always gigantically powerful on-stage, Newt's debating performances have been to a one universally heralded as nothing less than spectacular and he has been universally declared the winner of each debate, while also nevertheless earning the mockery and scorn of the left-wing media, like Reagan. The time Newt might have otherwise spent in the activities the great Reagan pursued, he was doing remarkable, historic achievements, like almost single-handedly leading the GOP to the first congressional majority in 40 years. He was the first speaker in modern history to balance the federal budget four times in a row. Newt's devotion to conservative principles is so strong that no one since Reagan has been so reviled and vilified by the left-wing press as he has.

Newt's devotion to conservatism is equal to Reagan, on whose political knee Newt learned the ropes, and whom Reagan personally liked. Newt is a better debater than Reagan was - and anyone else is, demonstrating a rapid-fire encyclopedic understanding of the facts that is simply stunning. Newt also uses an easy good humor, like Reagan did, to keep things in perspective while instinctively showing his human side. Like Reagan, Newt has charmed his enemies, outmaneuvered his opponents, made coalitions with his adversaries - and won. Like Reagan, Newt Gingrich believes in a strong national defense - promising to destroy any Korean test missile before it even leaves the launch pad - confronting our enemies, helping our allies, believes that the courts should be the weakest of the three powers, is economically and socially conservative, believes in keeping our pristine vistas unspoiled and also loves animals, like Reagan did.

The comparisons between Reagan and Gingrich are stunning with one huge difference - Newt has already as Speaker of the House accomplished things of which Reagan could have never dreamed before becoming President, and no one else currently in office or running for office can touch Newt in terms of accomplishment.

If Newt Gingrich realizes his positively manifest potential as President of the United States given these facts, there is little question that Newt would not only be equal to Reagan, but prove the better - and the best - President of the last hundred years, not only for that potential, but for the times that define great Presidents, for we are certainly in such times.

If we believe that Reagan was the finest President in the last hundred years, we're simply crazy if we don't vote for Newt Gingrich now.

If you follow the sciences, you know that Newt's moon station idea is not remotely absurd and should not be mocked. We could achieve the dream in well under eight years if done through a partnership with private enterprise as Newt has outlined.

Consider this: In 1969 we put a men on the moon in a small box with little reserve oxygen using the computing power of ONE 286 operating not on Windows 7, but a primitive, paper-card version of DOS, all of which was brand-new technology within the previous two years. And we did it, and controlling space - especially with the threat of Reagan's Star Wars defense system - led directly to the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Not only does NASA agree with Newt, they have already built a working prototype of the first stage of a modular station for deployment on the moon. This isn't science fiction. We easily have - and have long had - the science and computing power to quickly follow through. We have a space station right now orbiting the earth. It's been successfully operating and doing amazing research that has led to amazing new breakthroughs in medical research doing experiments which can only be done in Zero-G,- and it's been doing it for years.

A station on the moon in eight years would be a cinch as long as people remember that it will look more like today's space station - a likely utilitarian and not-at-all-glamorous collection of tubes and boxes - and not some glass-domed fantasy from an old science fiction movie.

The advantages of having such an operation on the moon are limitless, including owning space as a military power. Wake up. This is the kind of science and amazing technological application that ultimately brought the Soviet Union to a close. That's the kind of thing we want. Newt's right. Absolutely. It can be done. And it should. And it's up to us to shout down the mockery and call the mockery it what it is: dishonest and ignorant.

I would suggest something along the following lines be said by the Speaker Gingrich, preferably alongside someone connected, past or present, to NASA:

"Look, we have a station in space which has been invaluable for us in everything from medical research to military strategy. It's been working for years and years. NASA says a modular base on the moon is entirely do-able right now, and even has a working prototype of the first stage of such an operation. In Reagan's era, so-called Star Wars, the strategic missile defense initiative, brought the Soviet Union to the table and ultimately led to their collapse. If we want to ensure peace on earth in the same way, America needs to be the undisputed Superpower of space. This entirely practical plan ensures that if funded in partnership with private industry. In fact, we could have already done this for the money Obama wasted on his stimulus package. We could have that station and it would already be creating thousands of more jobs than Obama's failed initiatives. if Governor Romney and congressman Santorum cannot understand these basic facts , then they need to talk to the man standing next to me with more doctorates than they have attack ads - He's (fill in the name and title) and he says it can be done. I refuse to be shackled by the dishonesty and ignorance of simple-minded politicians with no vision beyond their own political ambitions"

Newt can turn this around immediately. He can, he should - and he'll be back on top in a millisecond, because it's the mockery that's hurting him, and he can turn that around in one day.

It's clear too many people have come to equate mere government with "Big Government". No one hates socialism more than I - it's untenable and destructive to individual liberty, ambition and the ability for one to live his or her life according to their full potential.

No taxes is great. No government, however, is anarchy and no central authority for our military to protect this nation. Judging someone in the negative because they have served their country in government is thoughtless and shallow. I'll grant you it's OFTEN a negative against that candidate, but the exceptions are startling when compared against the "no government" rhetoric. Reagan served in government. So did Lincoln. You get the picture. What matters is not the title, but the accomplishments relevant to the office sought.

We need to stop acting like crazy, knee-jerk reactionaries simply because someone has already served in government. There are candidates who may have only business experience, but have not the slightest idea how governments work to the benefit of the people. if we want a president like that, we might as well keep Obama - he still doesn't know how to use government to benefit the people. We need some who does and can hit the ground running. God knows with the mess Obama has created, we'll need at least that and much, much more. This is no game. As Newt continues to rise in the polls, it becomes clear that people understand that we need someone who knows what he's doing in Washington and we need that person now.

NEWT GINGRICH, THE PRESIDENCY AND THE STEAM SHOVEL

Quite frankly, common sense dictates that you hire the job candidate with the best resume and proven accomplishment. Newt's demonstrated intellect and more important, proven accomplishment, is simply unmatched by the competition as the competition's supporters are surprisingly quick to admit. In a situation like that, this decision should have been decided in Newt's favor long ago, and only now does it seem that that will prove the case.

Imagine 100 miles of freeway needs to be torn up right away to re-rout the cascading dam waters that will wipe out the town beyond. Next to the road, ready to begin, is a row of vehicles. One is a Lexus, one is a tank, one is a tricycle, a few are bikes, and one is a beanie with a propeller on top. And just next to them all warmed up is a 70-foot-tall monster machine steam shovel. And the steam shovel has awards like crazy, every construction firm worth it's salt has endorsed it, everyone has seen it build highways to a better life for decades and while the steam shovel is idling loudly, out of respect for the other vehicles far below, the stream shovel won't honk at them, even though the other vehicles are all honking at each other - loudly.

And at this moment, and for months, the majority of people have been and are scratching their heads, tapping their feet and wondering, "Lexus, Tank or Tricycle?" "Maybe if the Lexus wasn't so red." "The tricycle uses no gas, but has no mileage showing on the odometer." "The tank is good but it sometimes loses control of the turret and shoots our own guys." "I like the beanie because it doesn't have wheels, but the propeller spins funny." And only now, as the raging waters are in sight on the horizon, coming toward us , are people saying, "You know, there is something I like about that giant steam shovel. Maybe the steam shovel is worth a shot".

I am glad for that last part, finally, but I am disappointed in our society as 300 million human resource supervisors that it took so long to get to this point. The proven resume relevant to the job comes first.

Use the steam shovel.

THE CASE FOR NEWT GINGRICH

Newt Gingrich is the only clear conservative republican choice of substance in a race of inexperienced newcomers, well-meaning centrists, posers and the occasional lunatic.

Some say that Newt has a blemished past and "baggage". If they mean his marriages, then all should remember that Ronald Reagan fell in love with Nancy before he was divorced from Jane - and he and Nancy were clearly devoted as could be to each other to the end - and Reagan's own liberal kids pretty much hated him and said so publicly. Reagan was human and as such imperfect as is all of mankind (after original sin specifically if that is your faith). Yet for all that, Reagan was unquestionably the finest President in the 20th century. His charm, plain brilliance and sparkling, genuine enthusiasm for the greatness of this country led this nation out of a dark and self-loathing liberal past and made America proud - even joyous - to be America again. If we're looking for perfection we're in trouble, because human perfection is only in Jesus Christ, and the last I heard, He isn't running. And if anyone has baggage, it's coke-snorting, communist befriending, ACORN -endorsing, nude-mother-picture-having, fake-birth-certificate-posting, economy-ruining, teleprompter-needing, 57-United-States-visiting, Larry-Sinclair-allegedly-sex-having (alleged by Sinclair himself), Crazy-racist-pastor-loving, never-having-dated-before-Michelle-manifesting, Muslim/Christian/Marxist Barack Obama. I wouldn't worry too much about the "baggage factor". By all means, bring it on. Compared to most politicians, Newt almost qualifies for sainthood.

Some are citing a TV ad from ten years ago that Newt made with ultra-liberal Nancy Pelosi and trying to create the most shallow and intellectually dishonest smear-by- association campaign perhaps ever seen in the history of politics. At that time global warming was thought to be a threat. Newt was obviously asked to appear in the ad to help America and always the patriot, he did (even Reagan was a rugged environmentalist who loved his unspoiled western vistas). To those conservatives who have been so driven to reactionary paranoia by the left that they see Newt appearing in an ad with Pelosi as an act of conservative blasphemy, let me remind them that Ronald Reagan used to publicly laugh, be gracious to and shake hands with uber-liberal Tip O'Neal like they were old chums before going into a back room and giving O'Neal the political spanking of his life. No one called Reagan a conservative traitor for that the way some are are attempting to do with Newt Gingrich. Get a grip - Newt has poured scathing verbal acid over Pelosi and her incompetent liberal leadership so many times that the scars of those attacks may well be what he perceive as her botox injections. There is no one running remotely as conservative and determined to be conservative as Newt.

The liberal media did not try to destroy Newt totally when he was speaker and doing great, successful conservative things because he was in any way compromised toward liberalism.

Newt is the only candidate who could not only beat Obama in a debate, but utterly decimate him in a debate, and we desperately need that, because with the media fully behind Obama, we can afford to take no chances. The debates will be everything in 2012, because it will be the only time outside of Fox News that America gets to see the GOP candidate without liberal spin.

The finest candidate without question is directly in front of us in the form of Newt Gingrich: experienced like no other, knowledgeable like no other, articulate like no other, and completely prepared to strike back devastatingly against the left-wing media when it tries to play its usual unconscionable, biased and prejudiced tricks, and it will attempt to destroy whoever the GOP nominee is - we're crazy if we think moderation or skin color will placate them. When Sarah Palin entered the national stage she did so as a bright, successful, popular and beautiful governor who was equally at home in the rugged wilderness as she was in the halls of power. They destroyed her because she did not know how to fight back. They hate us and we need someone who will fight back against the media and win. We have seen flashes where every other GOP candidate has had their deer-in-the-headlights moment in front of the nation when the media played a gotcha trick and the GOP candidate momentarily seemed to apologize to the media for even being born. When the liberal reporters pull gotcha questions on Newt, he reduces them to rubble with positively withering condemnations which are entirely successful. There is perhaps only one person politically active at all who can successfully do that, and that's Newt Gingrich.

Newt Gingrich is clearly offering his service in a thankless job certain to leave him living a life for eight years of prejudiced left-wing attacks and dishonest liberal mockery and Newt is doing so unquestionably out of one motivation: patriotic duty for his country, which he rightfully understands better than anyone is on the edge of genuinely irreparable harm. Of that there can be no question.

Experience, articulation, knowledge, forceful personality, humor and unmatched proven political ability to lead this country against a liberal/socialist administration and media and win. If we do not take him up on his generous offer to avail ourselves of his unquestionable experience and proven ability we're simply disconnected to those things necessary to make an intelligent decision, because no other candidate comes up to his show-tops in proven national experience and ability, having himself balanced the federal - not state - budget as Speak of the House, a position only two steps away from the Presidency itself. We're crazy if we don't take him up on his offer to serve us, beat Barack Obama as only he can on the debate stage and fix this country before its too late.
